DPC LIMITED WARRANTY
FOR APOLLO PAGERS
DPC (DIGITAL PAGING COMPANY) WARRANTS THE PAGER
AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP UNDER NORMAL USE AND
SERVICE FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME SPECIFIED BELOW. This warranty is
extended by Digital Paging Company, 10825 Burbank Blvd., North
Hollywood, California 91601 to the original end user purchaser and is
not assignable or transferable to any other party.
This warranty
is given in lieu of all other express warranties and in no event
shall DPC (Digital Paging Company) be liable for damages for any loss
of use, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, lost profits or
savings or other incidental, special or consequential damages arising
out of the use or inability to use such product to the full extent
such may be disclaimed by law.
STANDARD WARRANTY
DPC pagers are
shipped with a limited Standard Warranty for a period of 18 months
labor and parts from date of purchase based on proof of purchase. In
the event of a defect, malfunction, or failure during the warranty
period, DPC, at its option, will either repair or replace the pager.
Repair, at DPC's option, may include the replacement of parts or
boards with functionally equivalent reconditioned or new parts and
boards. Replaced parts and boards are warranted for the balance of
the original warranty period. All parts and boards removed in the
replacement shall become the property of DPC. This warranty does not
cover defects, malfunctions, performance failures or damages to the
pager resulting from use other than its normal and customary manner;
misuse, accident or neglect, the use of non-conforming parts, or
improper alterations or repairs, water damage or corrosion. Not
covered in this warranty are batteries, battery chargers, housings,
holsters, wear and tear on covers or coverage range over which the
pager will receive signal. Unauthorized disassembly or repairs of any
kind by anyone other than a DPC authorized pager service center will
void this warranty.
OPTIONAL 5 YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY
This
optional Extended Warranty is provided in lieu of the Standard
Warranty for a consideration over and above the original purchase
price of the pager. This Extended Warranty covers parts and labor for
5 years starting from the time of purchase. In addition to the
coverage of the Standard Warranty described above, pagers will
qualify for one (1) refurbishment (replacement of needed (not
missing) housing parts) of the same color housing at no charge.
Holsters are not included in this coverage. The intent of this
service is to refurbish, not replace, needed housing parts on the
pager that may become damaged due to normal wear and tear during the
Extended Warranty period. Subsequent refurbishment or replacement of
housing parts will be subject to additional charges.
Not included
in the Extended Warranty are: Incomplete pagers such as units in
which parts or boards are missing and/or incompatible, pagers whose
serial numbers are missing or removed, pager models which are no
longer manufactured or pagers that have had work performed by anyone
other than a DPC authorized repair center. Unauthorized disassembly
or repairs of any kind by anyone other than a DPC authorized service
center will void this warranty. All purchases of Extended Warranty
are final. There are no refunds and warranties are not transferable
from one pager to another. Extended warranty does not cover loss or
theft of the pager. Under normal conditions, repair turnaround time
is approximately 21 business days and does not include time of
shipping/travel. Should pager Extended Warranty be cancelled from the
pager, the unit will then be covered by the Standard Warranty.

Shipping
All
Pagers covered under Warranty will be returned Via UPS ground at no
charge to the customer.
All pagers not covered under warranty will
be returned Via UPS GROUND COD unless otherwise stated.
